BerryWalls let me know they have just opened their beta to the public. The offer a small collection of 300+ wallpapers for your BlackBerry sized for 81xx, 83xx, 87xx, 88xx, 89xx, 9000, & 95xx. Nothing crazy special but they do have some nice shots available that look great as a wallpaper.

If you go there with the BB browser it say they are launching a mobile site in May 2009.

Well, I click the link using my blackberry, and it says a movile site will be up in May 2009. I hope its soon!

That’s a strange redirect from a BlackBerry developer. Just give us the regular site, not completely lock us out. That’s just stupid.

I wonder if they have even LOOKED at the horrible chop job their site is doing to the 95xx Storm versions of most of the pictures? CUte little Yorkie but when you choose the Storm version he’s sliced right down the middle of his face. Same goes for ever one I looked at. Maybe an on-device app is going to better crop/size the pics for the various device resolutions, I know that ain’t easy and with almost any pic really needs to be done by hand/eye, an automated tool just can’t be smart enough yet to figure out what is important in a photo.
