WhitePages Coming Soon to a BlackBerry Near You
Its a great day for leaks. MobileCrunch scored some details on an upcoming application from WhitePages that will put their people search power in your pocket. WhitePages is currently a very popular application on Android and the iPhone and is a bit light on features when it comes to the BlackBerry in a few days. The main feature it is missing is the Android apps ability to look up the name of whose calling while it is ringing like caller-ID. The app is already submitted to the App World and should be available soon.
Features will include:
- People Search – duh
- Business: Search by business name or category
- Reverse Search – Find out who it was that just called you
- Company: Find contacts of people who work at certain companies ???
- Recent Results: Your recent results are cached on the device for quick retrieval
