Previously we told you about MobiMouse as a cool app that lets you control your PC from your BlackBerry. It works over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB but sadly not your cell connection. This latest version gives you quite a few more shortcuts along with the ability to simulate the arrows on your keyboard. You can also Hibernate, Suspend, Logoff, or lock your PC from your Berry.
Personally I have a wish list for MobiMouse. I would love if it could directly control WinAmp and VLC player which I use all the time. Better yet it would fall back on a cellular connection so that it is always connected even when I just get home. I usually leave Wi-Fi off on my Bold because if it is not connected it is a real battery drain.
New features in this version:
- Arrow Mode – simulate arrow keys on keyboard
- Mute Key is now assignable to apps & shortcuts
- Adjust backlight timeout & brightness
- Hibernate, Suspend, Logoff or Lock PC
- Added Additional Control Keys
- Added MobiMouse to Shortcuts
There is a 7 day free trial after which it is well worth the $9.99 asking price ($7.99 on sale currently). I just hope this app keeps on getting better. Its like a cheap Logitech DiNovo Mini which would run you about $125!

I use BluCTRL over bluetooth, it’s donationware so reasonably priced
It allows you to take full control, including volume, win alt and ctrl key, key combos…

This would be an insanely popular software if it allowed keyboard over bluetooth on a PS3.
