T-Mobile UK to Offer Yearly Prepaid 8110 With Unlimited Data & Texts

tmobileUKpearl Prepaid BlackBerry solutions seems to be getting quite a bit of interest recently. Reuters is reporting that starting May 1st T-Mobile UK will be offering the BlackBerry 8110 with a prepaid plan. You pay £179.99 (~$260) for a year of unlimited text and data and have to pay voice on top of that. No word on how much the device itself would cost so this could get a hefty price out the door…

On the other hand that is pretty good at about £15/month (~$22) which is a bit more than T-Mobile US charges postpaid customers for BIS access. Personally I think this would gain more popularity if it was month to month instead of yearly…

    I don’t think it comes with free txts. But it comes with unlimited internet and BIS service (maybe with a fair use policy?). So after you top up the first time, you can do email, surf, IM, etc and never need to top up again unless you want to make calls or send txts.

    The price INCLUDES the BB I think!
