President Obama to get Top Security Enhanced BlackBerry
Now this is a interesting twist of events. ShvartzBerry let me know about an article on the Washington Times about Obama’s upcoming Top Secret clearance BlackBerry. With the help of Genesis Key they have created a MORE secure BlackBerry 8830 so Obama can send text and emails and make phone calls directly from his BlackBerry as long as the recipients have the same software loaded on their devices. Genesis Key is pretty vague on the details on their website but I am interested if anybody knows more.
I also found it pretty interesting that the Washington Times reports that Obama is currently using a patchwork of devices. He has his BlackBerry plugged into a NSA approved Sectera Edge. Not sure exactly how that works and if it is actually true…
