One of the things that I love about my BlackBerry is the ability to spell check as I type (Using an 8900), but what really makes the BlackBerry smartphone stand above in my opinion is the multitasking capabilities. Being bilingual, I often tend to type in both Spanish and English, and so far the BlackBerry has not disappointed me. The fact that I can simply switch from one language to another by a simple command of ALT+Enter in less than a second is just awesome. This is one of the most helpful tools that RIM has implemented with the new BlackBerry OS 4.5 and up. The BlackBerry is the perfect phone for multitasking. De BlackBerry is de perfecte telefoon voor multitasking. Another favorite feature of mine is the ability to run several applications at the same time and switch between them back and forth. I find it to be a lot like the option PCs have using the ALT+TAB to change from one application to the other.   • Change language: ALT+Enter. Change language: ALT + Enter.
  • Typing a special character such as “ñ” in Spanish: click the letter you want without releasing it and use the trackball to scroll through the letters until you get the one you want. Het typen van een speciaal teken zoals "ñ" in het Spaans: klik op de letter die u wilt, zonder los te laten en gebruik de trackball om te bladeren door de letters tot je de gewenste.
  • Toggle between apps: press and hold Alt+Backspace button. Also, by pressing backspace again, it lets you move through all the applications you currently have open. These features make the BlackBerry a useful device for me and it is not as easy to do with any other device I have owned. I used to go through different phones every quarter until I got my first BlackBerry.     yeah I do is a nice app.. yeah ik doe is een leuke app .. hopefully it goes out of beta soon. hopelijk gaat het binnenkort van beta.

    I have SocialScope as well. Ik heb SocialScope ook. It is great. Het is geweldig. They just release a new version, but it has yet to make its way over to me. Ze hebben net een nieuwe versie, maar het heeft nog te maken zijn weg naar me toe.

    What two applications are shown to the right of your Application Switch menu (the screen shot with SocialScope selected)? Welke twee toepassingen worden getoond aan de rechterkant van uw aanvraag Switch-menu (de screen shot met SocialScope geselecteerd)? One looks like a Security product and the other looks like a Chat client. Men ziet eruit als een Security product en de andere ziet eruit als een chat-client.

    Lastly, if you have one of a newer beta OS (I do on my Bold), you can hold down the BlackBerry button for a second or two to pull up the application switcher. Tot slot, als u een van de nieuwere beta OS hebben (ik doe op mijn Bold), kunt u houd de BlackBerry-knop een seconde of twee voor het trekken van de applicatie switcher.       Thanks, I knew I forgot that feature and it actually keeps the menu up doesn't it. Thanks, wist ik dat ik vergat dat functie en het eigenlijk houdt het menu omhoog doet het niet.

      The security feature is the SMRTGUARD app it should be out of beta as a commercial app soon. De zekerheid kenmerk is de SMRTGUARD app moet uit zijn bèta als een commerciële app binnenkort. and The 3rd app is just my BB messenger just the themer used that icon for it. De 3e en app is gewoon mijn BB boodschapper alleen de gebruikte Themer dat pictogram voor.

      Neither way works for me. Noch manier werkt voor mij. I have to hit the BlackBerry button, and then scroll down to “Switch Application”. Ik heb te raken de BlackBerry-knop, en dan scroll naar "Switch Application".

    On the Bold as of a late 4.6 revision you can hold down the blackberry buttons to bring up the task switcher. Op de Stoute als van een late 4,6 herziening kunt u Houd de BlackBerry knoppen te brengen tot de taak switcher. Not sure if any other OS's or models can do this yet. Niet zeker of elk ander besturingssysteem of modellen kan dit nog doen.

    I actually hate the alt+backspace feature. Ik heb eigenlijk een hekel aan de Alt + Backspace functie. I wish I could press alt then backspace to bring up the task switching. Ik wou dat ik kon druk op alt backspace te brengen van de task switching. It would allow me to switch tasks one-handed. Het zou mij toe om over te schakelen taken met een hand. In its current form, I have to use two hands. In zijn huidige vorm, moet ik gebruik maken van twee handen. :-/ : - /

    Luis, I have the bold and language input shortcut does not work for me. Luis, heb ik de gedurfde en taalaanbod snelkoppeling werkt niet voor mij. Is there anything else I need to install or could it be because I chose English as the only language option. Is er iets anders ik moet installeren of kan dit worden omdat ik koos het Engels als enige taal optie. Thanks. Bedankt.

      It should work but your right you need need to load the languages you want to keep by selecting them on Desktop manager. Het moet werken, maar u moet uw recht moet de talen die u wilt bewaren door ze te selecteren op de Desktop Manager belasting. If you remove them and only use the English language the option will not be there. Als u ze verwijdert en uitsluitend gebruik van het Engels de taal van de optie zal er niet zijn.

    Luis: When you say the BlackBerry button, is that the one to the left of the trackball on the Bold? Luis: Als u zegt de BlackBerry-knop, is dat de een aan de linkerkant van de trackball op de Bold? Mine just takes me off the main screen to the screen with all the icons. Mine duurt slechts me af het hoofdscherm naar het scherm met alle pictogrammen. Perhaps it's the theme? Misschien is het thema? I set up my convenience button to bring up the task switcher.       yes the one with the BB symbol to the left, you hold it for a few seconds and it should bring that up. ja de een met de BB symbool aan de linkerkant, houd je het voor een paar seconden en het moet dat te brengen.
