Note: Themes below can be accessed via OTA (Over-the-Air) download directly to your BlackBerry device using the PimpMyBerry.Com link at the bottom of this post. However, registration to PimpMyBerry’s site (visit: http://www.pimpmyberry.com) is necessary in order to access those OTAs. The registration is free, but is required.
Theme designer Nelson (aka NGC) over at PimpMyBerry just sent in these awesome new ‘Mini Series’ themes for BlackBerry 8300 devices. There are three versions in all: Mini Storm, Mini Bold and Mini Javelin. Since I’m sporting the Bold these days, I wasn’t able to test any of these themes, so I am not sure how they work. However, in viewing the screen shots, these are some pretty cool themes at a really great price – FREE! Lots of icons on the main screen, which is a very nice feature.
OTA links for all themes can be found at PimpMyBerry.com. There’s also a place in the thread so you can make comments on the themes, so go ahead and give them a try.
This is a great find for Curve owners, so we owe Nelson a big THANK YOU!

Tested both the ministorm and minijavelin themes on my 8330 and they look great. Almost makes me wish I hadn’t paid for the Javelin Replica theme a while back. Only reason I still prefer the replica is because I’d rather have larger icons. The small ones are nice but a bit hard on my eyes to look at.

Hi I just found this site and downloaded the minibold theme for my curve 8330. It could be that I ma trying ot put a bold theme on a curve but I thought the site said it would work. Here is my issue. I cannot see the theme when I go to my themes on the curve but when I go to applications I can see it listed. I downloaded it OTA

Hi, I assume you are running OS 4.5 on your device? That is a requirement for this theme. If you are not sure, go to Options>About> and see what version you are running. If you are running a lower version then that may be the issue. If you are running 4.5, then make sure you have the default Dimensions Zen theme installed on your Berry. That is the main default theme and you need that to be able to get other bottom ‘zen’ themes working. If that is not the issue, the last thing I can suggest is for you to reboot your device and see if that helps. Good luck.

Nick – the OTAs are right at the bottom of the post, under the screenshots in the link at PMB that I just put in the comments. Here are the jad files you can also access. Click on the link via your BB to download directly. Can’t get any easier than that. I don’t post direct jad files in my posts as most theme designers don’t appreciate that.

Firstly Shamon, the themes are linked at PimpMyBerry.com where the theme is hosted. As this post was published in April, we can never be sure what will happen to the links several months down the road. However, I just tested the link in the post, and it still works. So not sure exactly what your issue is.
