you need to set your apn setttings under Options/Advanced/TCP

They are carrier specific so I cannot tell you what to put in there and watch out for data charges depending on the carrier/apn settings you use (some carriers have more than one set of settings!)

Your review mentions the Mac but the installer available is an .exe

Apparently, this only works with windows?

Pdanet was one of the few great things I liked on my windows based smartphone. It worked well on Sprint.

BTW, carriers will be a little less able to detect and block this than a proxy based solution but it's certainly not impossible.

@Fabian:
In the discussions about TetherBerry here and elsewhere the TOS of at least VZW and ATT and TMO were posted that made it clear that tethering without paying for a tetherin plan violates your contract. They could take whatever action they take for any violation. Charge you extra, cut you off, whatever. As I have said over and over, the occasional use is not going to cause problems and won't trigger carrier scrutiny, but there WILL be idiots out there torrenting and such via this, they will have huge data usage numbers, carrier scrutiny will increase, and we ALL suffer. The actions of a few who think its their RIGHT to do whatever they want to online despite laws or contracts or whatever to the contrary ALWAYS screw up good things like this for the rest of us.

Hmmm...another app with which to tether? So I wonder if THIS obe violates carrier restrictions by giving you tethering without paying for the tethering plan?
