New: Premium Chiron Theme from Elecite!
I had been wondering what the guys at Elecite had been up to. Then I received an email from Peter letting me know about their new theme, Chiron. Available for the 8900, 9000 & 9500, Chiron is all grays, chromes and black and has an almost 3D-like feel to it. On the main screen you have a scrolling dock of “8 customizable icons (vertical for Bold/8900 and horizontal for Storm), and 3 today icons (Calendar, Messages and Call Log) with up to 10 events/entries.”
The wallpaper on the main screen (in between the chrome frame) is changeable, but note that it will be ghosted back (i.e. faded) as the default image is. However, it can make for an interesting look if you choose the right image. That aside, the whole theme looks and feels great on my Bold. A good choice theme when you want slick, smooth and stylish. Chiron costs $6.99 over at Elecite.Com.
