Never had a problem before this v. Now it begins to open then closes giving me a popup of:

this updated version is actually much better than the first one. it works pretty nicely. what would make it better is if it has options for audio alerts on new voicemail. currently when there’s a new VM, the icon changes to a star so you can see. but if you have the app buried inside other folders and not on your homescreen, it’ll be difficult to know when you get new VM so an audio alert like VYMail would be nice.

That’s good to hear because I personally prefer VyMail over YouMail’s Voicemail Plus client. Granted, I haven’t tried this new version yet, but VyMail has been rock solid for me.

Why is the font so big on my Bold? My system font is 7 but this app for some reason makes the font bigger with no way to change it?

My guess is that YouMail bought the rights to VyMail and will probably be implementing the better features and throwing-away the rest. That’s just speculation, of course. It may just be that the dude is really busy with life and a full-time job that actually pays him something.

It is sad to see VyMail dropping off, because it was initially far superior, and I still prefer it, however it is good to stick with an app that is continuing to evolve.
