BlackBerryU2 Domain Registered to RIM – U2 BlackBerry Possibility?
I remember when Apple used to promote their U2 branded iPod back in the day. It was pretty popular and definitely had the “look at me” factor playing in its favor. U2 has already announced that they have partnered with RIM for their U2 360 world concert tour. The BoyGenius let out that there actually may be a tighter integration between U2 and RIM. Bono let loose that RIM has offered them access to their labs and people to “do something spectacular.” Could be this means a branded device, theme, or application in the near future?
On top of that if you want to add to the rumor mill. My buddy Josep let me know that RIM & Evergreen Concepts LLC,Live Nation UTours are the registered domain contacts for www.blackberryU2.com. That is not surprising since RIM regularly gets different domains but maybe this is the start of something bigger?
