Mobile Sites for Radio Station Playlists

yes_com I know many people use the free Nobex radio companion application to figure out what is playing on the radio. On the other hand if you are like me you probably avoid having infrequently used BlackBerry applications installed on your device. I just thought it was worth mentioning that there are two different websites that give you access to radio station playlists (in the USA only from what I can tell) so you can find out what is playing or played on the radio. Think of it as the poor mans “Song ID” :)

The two websites are:

  • mobile.Yes.com – This website does not require registration but it may take a minute for you to setup your city from your BlackBerry browser due to the clunky search system. It gives you some pretty good info including name, artist, time, and the ability to skip forward and back in the playlist.
  • m.nabbit.com – This website does require a free registration but the nice part is that since you register the website always remembers your location. The downside is that you need to register from a PC to set it up correctly. It also lets you mark a song as a favorite for review or purchase later.

If you found any other resources for identifying songs let me know!
