FAQ: Duplicate Messages Arriving on your BlackBerry is a Known Issue…
For the last few weeks I have been getting reports from quite a few users including my mother in law
asking why they are getting duplicates of all their messages on their BlackBerry. Usually removing and adding the email address again fixed the problem. On the other hand I just found a knowledge base article on RIM’s site confirming this issue and saying that there is no resolution currently though it has been escalated with their development team…
The funniest part of this article is the clear heading that says: “For RIM internal use only. Not for external distribution.”
I guess we just have to wait for BIS 2.7…
