iHeartRadio Now Storm Compatible – Free Streaming Radio

10 Comments »

Developer: iHeartRadio Cost: Free

iheartradioStorm A few days ago our buddies at BBCool showed off iHeartRadio for the Storm. I did not mention it then since it was still not available according to the iHeartRadio website. Josep just let me know that iHeartRadio just officially put up a Storm compatible version on their website at this link. As a reminder iHeartRadio is a free streaming radio application for BlackBerry though I think it is US only for now though it may also work in Canada.

Features include:

  • 150 of America’s favorite stations
  • Streaming in high-quality AAC format
  • Critically acclaimed genre-defying channels
  • Bookmark stations and tag songs
  • Hit Randomize to find something new

Check it out at this link or download it OTA by heading to www.iheartradio.com from your BlackBerry.

  2. It appears to be the same as the beta that was posted a few days ago. Both are version 1.0.0.0.

    Maybe they didn’t pay their bill….

  4. Its the same version just now they have a Storm compatible version… Why does it not work on T-Mobile?

    There is a statement on their web site that it will not work on TMO. Nobex works great and so does Pandora but it would be nice to have the selection of stations they offer.

    • It actually does not say that it does not work at all on T-Mobile it says it does not work on the T-Mobile Curve which is very odd… I have never heard of an app that works on some but not all devices from a carrier.

      @Um No
      The old beta was a beta and did not reflect on their website as actually supporting the Storm. Now it does.
