One of the gripes people have told me about the Storm is that navigating your contact list is not as smooth as it used to be on QWERTY devices. Phrehnck seems to think the same and decided to do something about it with his new application called acceloDex. It simplifies and speeds up your navigation of your contact list. It is probably not as integrated as the native address book but it looks pretty slick and the features sound just right. At $4.99 it might be a hard sell for Phrehnck but it looks like there is a free trial.
From the description:

very cool app. finally, a quick and easy way to scroll through my contacts. the momentum flick-scrolling in portrait mode is fast, as is the the tilt scrolling in landscape. the audio and vibrating features are also pretty nice. i think it was worth the small price for these features, which i think rim should have implented on oem storms. i’m running it on .114 without any problems.
it would be nice to have the option of tilt or flick scrolling in both portrait and landscape modes…just saying. and having the contact info show more than just one email address (we all have more than just one email address right?)
1.99 thumbs up from me.
