2.99 is a little insulting but they definitely need to lower the price to become more competitive.

I agree completely with Lewis, beejive is cheaper, and it works a lot better with fewer disconnects than IM+. I started off with IM+ and after a week of constant disconnects with no notifications that I was disconnected as well as an annoying inability to connect to the IM+ service I made the switch to beejive and have been happy ever since.

Beejive is much better than im+

I bought im+ first ages ago because I didn't know about beejive, so it was $50 wasted. Beejive is easier to use and more stable.

Anyone reading this, go with beejive! Their facebook chat beta is cool cool cool.

@ Andrew:
www.beejive.com
It's $30 for a lifetime-swappable license, but well worth it.
I used IM+ back in the day when it first came out and was a beta tester and did a couple reviews on it. It was okay back then, as we were limited on what IM programs that we had. However, the UI and features are so elementary compared to beejive now.
I am surprised they haven't dropped the price of it to $19.99.
Especially considering the fact that Translator+ is only $9.99.
To me, Translator+ is WELL worth $19.99-$29.99 for those that have a use for it.
It's absurd to have IM+ priced at $50.00. Absolutely ridiculous.

2.99 maybe I would have bought it.
