mobimouse3BluCTRL is free and lets you control your PC’s mouse over Bluetooth but the commercial MobiMouse software lets you also do it over Wi-Fi. I find Wi-Fi preferable since it seems to be a more solid connection on my BlackBerry and MUCH faster. I also love how it allows you to use the mute and volume keys on your BlackBerry to control your PC. It also lets me use a Bluetooth headset at the same time. The app is now on sale for $7.99 (regularly $9.99) from VirtualViews and comes with a free 7 day trial.

    I tried this while at work, and no go, however might have something to do with that my laptop is on secured wireless and my 8320 is on the unsecured open one for guests. Will try at home where all is guaranteed to be on the same DNS.

      Right, I think you need to be on the same network as it asks for a sub-IP address that your (home) network provides, handles.

    Works with my home PC (Dell GX270) with XP and my Blackberry Bold. Tested over Wifi and it works great.
    No problem connecting, and the mouse and keyboard response is just right. Not only that I was able to change the “speed” which made it even better when set to “slow”.

    Would love to see the ability to submit common key combination and special keys (Delete key, Windows key, ALT-CTRL-DEL, ALT-TAB, others. from a menu.

    Would also love to be able to run-as-service so keyboard and mouse commands will be allowed even before the machine is logged into.

    AWESOME! IT WORKS! I’ve been meaning to buy a bluetooth adapter so that I could use this (bluCTRL rather), but now I guess I don’t need to yet.

    I cant control volume up/dn/mute though with the BB buttons. Anyone else get these to work?

    I’ve been waiting for bluctrl to add vista 64 support forever. Now I don’t need to! Very happy with MobiMouse so far.

    HI,
    Does anyone know if this app works with Xbox 360?
    I would love to reply to my xbox msgs using my BlackBerry. im tired of plugging my usb keaboard on my console :)
