First I was surprised with the black trackballs for BlackBerry. Then came the red, yellow, and purple variants. I guess it should be no surprise that CNN.cn is now stocking green, blue, & orange trackballs…
- Green trackball for 81xx/82xx/83xx/88xx/89xx/90xx
- Orange trackball for 81xx/82xx/83xx/88xx/89xx/90xx
- Blue trackball for 81xx/82xx/83xx/88xx/89xx/90xx
They are going for $7.99 each which is pretty reasonable but I heard recently that they are not as good quality as the OEM white and black ones. Let me know what you think if you pick one up! I am curious to see how they compare.

I have ordered a blue and a purple trackball from ebay, you can find the sellers page at berryball.com, the ones I got from there work great. They work the same as the one it came with. They are 13.99 though, but have free shipping, I know cnn charges at least $5 for shipping. Those might be a good alternative for people looking for a color trackball, since it sounds like the ones on cnn do not work that well.

I ordered a red one and it is terrible. Barely scrolls at all. Plus it took about 3 weeks for me to recieve it as it is shipped from China

I agree with Jenathi. The ones from http://berryball.com are a lot nicer than the ones on cnn. I have ordered from both places. The ones from cnn take FOREVER to get here, cost the same, and don’t work as good. The berryballs have a nicer color, and they work a lot better. It’s like the china ones are painted or something, so they are slick and don’t roll as well. The berryball ones are just plain better.
cnn = waste of money.
berryball.com = the real deal.
