I just went to download BBFileScout 0.5.5 for my 9503 Storm and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have released 0.5.6. I don't know what the difference is yet or if this is just the Storm version. GK

If BeamReader is properly registered as the default app to open PDF files (OS v4.5 or later), there should be no reason to add a file association -- I use RepliGo Reader, and it works just fine! ;-) Does opening a PDF file E-mail attachment automatically launch BeamReader? Try deleting the association, saving, exiting, (and possibly rebooting) to see if it resolves the issue.

Not sure about the new playlist feature.

I like this file manager, but have found a couple file association issues. This new version still can not open *.pdf files when "double clicked". I've set the association of pdfs to BeamReader to no avail. Also though I set *.mp3 associations to Mobiola xPlayer, they still open in the BB Player.

Quick clarification... The new Playlist Directory option specifies where playlists will be stored, not "a startup directory that the application will always open to".
