		<description>Also, I performed a &quot;hybrid&quot; install onto my VZW 8830 of this same OS -- essentially overlaying the Java files from the 8830 release (after performing a complete backup of both data and 3rd-party apps, of course ;-)) on top of my OS v4.5.0.135 (Sprint) installation.  On one of the forums, I saw a post about someone with a USCC 8830 receive an automated update via the RIM web-based updater even though USCC has not yet posted the software for the 8830 -- unfortunately, this method wasn&#039;t available to me since 1) RIM checks carrier by PIN and 2) web-based updates are not available to BES users.</description>
