BlackBerry 9630 (Niagara) Gets First Review!

9630 Our buddy Kevin over at CrackBerry scored a BlackBerry 9630 (Codename Niagara) to review and give his thoughts. Sadly the OS is still pre-production but this is the first non-blurry set of images we have to date. Kevin does a great job of walking us through the device with images and a video. The device will be a CDMA world phone without Wi-Fi and fits somewhere between the 8900 and Bold in size. Not much else crazy new but definitely worth reading!

It looks like all you CDMA users will be getting a device refresh this year but sadly it still looks like Q3 for now. The OS on this device is just starting to be refined so it may be awhile. I just hope they don’t release it as buggy as the Storm.

With the OS at .10, have to wonder which 4.7.0 build 4.7.1 is based on? .109 is the only really decent one out ther IMHO.

  2. Shame on you RIM. Why dont you put out a CDMA phone with wifi already??? I have a storm and its painful at best (even running on .109). Give me a a bold with wifi already.
