Verizon Opens Friends & Family For Businesses
We mentioned a bit back about Verizon’s Friends & Family plan for individual & family plans but now it is available for business customers as of March 15th. The new feature lets businesses select 10 numbers in and out of network that they can call for free. It looks like this is 10 numbers for the whole business account making it a little less useful but still better than nothing.
I am not sure why they are calling it Friends & Family plan if it is for Businesses but I guess the name just stuck… Businesses with Nationwide for Business Single-Line plans with 900 or more Anytime Minutes or Nationwide for Business Single-Line with Share option plans with 450 Anytime Minutes or more are eligible to add up to 10 numbers to their business account’s Friends & Family for Business.
As of March 15th business account administrators can login to My Business or Verizon Enterprise Center and set the 10 free numbers. They can change them anytime and they will take effect the next day.
