Polaroid Bluetooth PoGo Instant Mobile Photo Printer – $96
A bit back I heard about Polaroid’s PoGo Instant Mobile Printer and I thought it was a pretty cool idea. Problem was back then it was not compatible with the BlackBerry or at least was not advertised as such so I did not mention it. Derek let me know that they are now officially claiming support for the Pearl, 8300 & 8900 Curve, & Bold.
Essentially the PoGo is a gimmicky printer that lets you print 2”x3” pictures over Bluetooth from your phone. The pictures are also stickers but you need to buy expensive cartridges ($13 for 30 pictures at Amazon) to print on. The cool part is that the printing is kind of like the original Polaroid with no ink (what they call ZINK or Zero Ink). The colors supposedly are not the most amazing quality but it does have a definite “COOLNESS” appeal…
You can find the printer for $96 at Amazon and cartridges are available at this link. Let me know if you pick one up since I am curious about how well it works!
PS: Dell also has practically the same printer for $99 in blue if that floats your boat.
