It looks like Slacker & RIM are also giving away 2,500 free monthly subscriptions to Slacker Radio Plus on their MySpace page. This is limited to the first 2,500 people who sign up at this link. Slacker Radio Plus is practically the same as the basic radio service plus unlimited song skips, unlimited song requests, & no advertisements… I know it is only a 1 month subscription but it is free and free is usually good.
Sign up at this link (or this link and click the Apps for BlackBerry tab) and scroll down to where it says Slacker and click the “Get It Now” button and fill out their form. Can’t promise you it will work but it should.

I can’t figure out how to get the free month! lol
Maybe because I’m already a Slacker member?
No biggie though as the free version is great as is.
In any event, those of you that haven’t tried Slacker… I highly recommend it. I’ve been using the free version for a while now and it is by far the best BlackBerry radio app available.

I also am not to figure out how to get the free month. The link just ultimately sends me to Slacker radio and I sign in with my log in info. Is this only for new members?

I believe everyone who signs up gets a 30-days trial period. As long as they cancel within the first 30 days, they won’t be charged. As such, what is the different with this offer?

I loved this app but it was just too unstable on my 8330. If the BB rebooted faster I might have been able to deal with it. I finally gave up and went back to having mp3s on my SD card.
