Provided it is done with the employees knowledge and consent (through an agreement or employment contract) how an organization chooses to monitor their IP is solely up to them. If you think that RIM is the only organization that does this, try asking Apple, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo ... etc. It's common practice! This is such a non-issue. I'm with you Ronen, the quotes were clear to me in their intent. Heck, with so many companies switching to business VOIP for cost control, all phone calls ARE just another chunk of data to be archived and stored just like emails.
