I can count how many times I was supposed to text something to someone and forgot. Eu posso contar quantas vezes eu era suposto texto algo a alguém e esqueci. I know, I know. Eu sei, eu sei. I can already hear it,  “Why don't you just place a reminder in your calendar?” Because it will just remind me that I have a text to write. I tested this on some of my friends and family: birthday greetings, shopping lists, reminders, etc., and it works very well. And, if your phone is off during the time your messsage should be sent, the SMS Scheduler will send it as soon as your phone is turned back on.
