I woke up this beautiful Sunday morning to an email from Secret Agent JC who sent in OS 4.6.1.174 for the 8900 Curve. Its been a week since your last 8900 OS fix so enjoy!
Let us know what you find in the new OS versions in the comments below. Nice work JC, keep the tips coming!
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.
BTW it really is a beautiful Sunday in NYC… Unseasonably warm considering it was below freezing a few days ago. If you are in my neck of the woods I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

Has anyone tried this on a T-Mo 8900? Any differences over .168?

I have, haven’t noticed any differences at first I did notice my audio was acting weird but did a reboot and it’s working better now. No major differences that I can tell so far.

From reading every entry from the discussion at http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/latest-8900-os-v4-6-1-174-a-177438/ it seems this OS has mainly better battery life, and no new bugs to report.

Loaded on my TMO 8900 and haven’t had any issues, seems that my battery does last a little bit longer. So far so good
