Sometimes it does not work in your favor to have a new BlackBerry. I was poking around the BlackBerry Owners Lounge and came across three hot free Bplay games. The problem is that they are not supported on the 9000 Bold, 8220 Pearl, 8900 Curve, or 9500 Storm. Every other device I tried such as the 8320 had not problem downloading them and playing! I guess Bplay is only giving them away for older devices… Let me know if you get it working on your device in the comments!

The games are:
- Medieval Kings Chess II – Online multiplayer chess
- Proteus – Cool asteroids like game
- Disco Bowling – Fun bowling game
You can pick all three of them up OTA or from your desktop at this link:

For some reason they do not show them on mobile.blackberry.com.

How depressing – my Curve 8330 is considered an “Older Generation 8000 device” already.

Very stealthy. You can download these and install them, it is only when you run them that you are prompted to “register”. This registration seems to pull the default email address from your blackberry and DOES NOT let you change what address is registered, so entering a “not” email address would not appear to be an option.

Yes I’d did enter a unreal email thanks to woj. All you do is highlight your email and click on trackerball and scroll down to other. Add unreal email.

I’ve spent tons of time playing Medieval Kings Chess II. Sharpens my chess skills so someday I can take on Big Blue!
