9000-orig The developer of QuickLaunch, Erik, let me know that he has added support for the 8900 & Bold to the popular application. The other nice addition he mentioned to me earlier is that there is now a free 3-day trial (looks like a DM install). In case you don’t remember, QuickLaunch is a simple shortcut application for BlackBerry that lets you link it to a ton of other apps. The cool part is that it only runs when you open it so it is not taking up any extra resources. Pretty cool for $4.99 in the store.

QuickLaunch does not run in the background taking up resources. QuickLaunch runs only when it’s opened allowing you to choose your previously configured shortcut, function or 3rd Party Application. Make your selection by highlighting the menu item you want and your off! QuickLaunch then exits until you run it again.
