The guys at NewPCGadgets let me know that they have a new product that I think sounds interesting for BlackBerrys. It is a little kickstand that props your mobile device at a 75-degree viewing angle. The cool part is that unlike other stands for BlackBerry this one sticks to your device using 3M double sided tape and collapses easily so it is always on your device. This would be cool just to put on your desk or to watch a movie on the plane without having to constantly hold your device.
They do not specifically market this for the BlackBerry but I think it will work. They only had pictures of an iPod but I don’t see why it would not work on a BlackBerry. I emailed them for a review but if you pick one up yourself let me know. At $4.95 it is not expensive at all.

Thats neat but I still use my old 7210 blackberry stand to hold my Bold. It sits in it perfectly.

Nice idea but it looks like it would cover up the contacts and batt. door release button on the 8320.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a very long time, so I can keep my kids busy during frustrating times. They like to watch movies on my blackberry but hate holding it and I don’t like them leaning it up against things. Maybe this can put on holster that clips on your belt so you don’t have to have it stuck to your actual phone. I’ll comment when I receive mine. I ordered one!!

How dare you post a product for Blackberry and use a picture of an iFart to model it!

Got mine yesterday and love it. Stands up my Curve without getting in the way. Looks like it’s made out of stainless instead of black but who cares.

So it’s been over two weeks and I paid via Paypal and still no riser. This thing should have arrived in 2 days via First Class Mail! I got no response from newpcgadgets and now have to dispute it with Paypal to get my $6 bucks back. Too bad, cause it really looked promising. Horrible service.

I got mine yesterday. It took 7 days from the time I ordered it. They said they were back ordered. Anyway it works just like they said and now I can stand up my BB. Love it.
