FAQ: BBLight – How To Setup Simultaneous Vibrate & Ring Free

bblightvibe[2] When I mentioned BBLight adding free Vibrate+Ring functionality yesterday quite a few readers were confused about how to set it up. Tateu offered some advice on how to set it up since it is not straight forward so I thought I would share…

Click on the profile icon on your homescreen and select advanced
Select your active device profile to edit it
In there you will find a new entry for BBLight
Select the BBLight option and set it to Vibrate and repeat
Also set Notification to None and # of vibrations to 1
Click back and select the Phone setting in the list
Set your phone settings to Tone only
Click back and save and go back to your homescreen
Open the BBLight application and set “Vibration for Phone Calls to something other than 1

That is it!

Note: To turn off simultaneous vibration and ringing for a specific profile:

To completely disable simultaneous vibration and ringing:

In the BBlight application, set “Vibration for Phone Calls” to 0.
And you can do the following but don’t really need to – In your active device Profile, set BBlight to None
