BlackBerry Pearl 8230 flip CDMA Gets FCC’s Approval

Engadget just posted some evidence that the BlackBerry 8230 is coming to a CDMA network soon enough.

The FCC documents give more light to the rumors floating around the net, and it seems it just got the approval stamp from the FCC and the specs point towards the rumored BB 8320. The 8230 will be a EV-DO CDMA for the 580 and 1900MHz network. So if you been waiting for a flip BB on a Verizon network then you might be getting one soon.  Now if they would hurry and release a Querty device our friend Nate would be very happy. Which device are you hoping for?

  1. I am waiting for the NIAGRA or the CDMA javelin hooorah!

  2. My theory: a handful of people received a promo text saying they could get any blackberry for free on verizon until 3/31. The big V will probably release the flip right after that. (4/1?)

    Maybe its just wishful thinking.
