Downloading now… Hey anyone know a good task manager like tool for BB?

I installed it last night and so far no problems at all. This is a very good release. I don’t see any new features it seems to be all performance and stability related tweaks. If there are any bugs I haven’t found them yet.

    Highlights
    -Reboots are faster
-Keyboard response is much better and more accurate.
-Transitions from Portrait to Landscape are quicker
    -Available memory has improved slightly
-Camera so far seems to be faster (haven’t tested different lighting situations yet)

I’ll update if I find anything else.

it doesnt here in UAE-Dubai, some weird ISP IP sharing protocoles…

  9. The one from the crackberry forums (where it was first released/leaked?) worked for me and none of the others did for some reason too. Here’s the link:

  10. First impressions:

    - Cleaned up some minor UI issues I was having (for example; when in the Application Centre, the list of applications covered the area where it was supposed to tell you when the last time it updated was – that is fully visible now.)

    - SureType typing is much faster and more responsive. I found in .103 that when I typed it felt like I was two or three letters ahead of the screen most times, with .109 it seems to keep up so far.

  12. Anybody else notice anything better?

  13. A few more:

Did not correct ‘memory leak.’ (Started with 30mb down to 8 since install yesterday.)

‘GO’ button in browser is still there.

  15. INSTRUCTIONS: verizon

    1. Download the leaked OS
    2. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
    3. Back up your 3rd party apps.
    4. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
    5. Download desired OS to your PC
    6. Install/run OS to PC
    7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager
    8. Click Application Loader
    9. Click Update
    10. At this point, disconnect your computer from the internet
    11. Select the OS you would like to load and continue
    12. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 20-90 minutes to complete upgrade.

  16. I like this fw update very much, granted I did update from .75 this is an all around faster version it seems slow to open folders and applications but its not bad.my favorite improvement is the camera, 100 percent cleaner and faster, I also like the faster scrolling on the menus. This update definitely gives me hope for this phone, it would be even better if they could add the function of a rubberband effect and if they could free up the memory more and help it stay free
