I'm assuming it is NOT a Verizon 8330 because none of that would work. Correct?

Well where do I start... I was reading about how to fix your gps on 8330 and if you have a 8330 download the basic version of GPSED.
Once you have open up app and let it run then don't close it but hit your back button... it will ask you, Do you want to have it run in the back ground....click YES.
I then open up Google maps and it took 4 to 5 seconds to find 7 satellites. Then i try Blackberry Maps and WOW!!! It took 4 to 5 seconds to find 7 satellites.
I have to say this app works GREAT for ME!
Hope this helps all us 8330 owners.

I've never been able to get GPSed to work right. I wanted not to make my tracks public but to allow one or two people to see them and could not, for the life of me, figure out how.
