BlackBerry 9300 Gemini Info Leaks – Looks Like 3G 8900 Curve

9300_Gemini UPDATE: Looks like the device was mistakenly called the Gemini. The Gemini is actually an unimpressive 8325 non-3G old style Curve who’s only saving grace is OS 5.0…

The BoyGenius struck gold again with some info on an upcoming 9300 Gemini handset that looks promising. The specs have it more or less looking like a 8900 Curve with 3G which was bound to happen sooner of later. The screen will supposedly be larger than the current 8900 with higher resolution along with a faster CPU.

So far details have it with a Quad Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radios with Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA with probable additions of WiFi and GPS. All in all it looks like a promising evolution of the current 8900 but no word yet on availability.

So what do us who are willing to get the 8900 do now? I am willing to bet this won’t make it out until 1 year from now, like Q1 or Q2 of 2010. Hopefully to T-Mobile because they know what to do with WiFi enabled phones

  2. 8325??! 8900 seems much better to get than just another 83XX, plus if 8325 would get OS 5.0, I’d imagine that other devices would as well. I liked Gemini for the 9300. Now that the 9300 is nameless, could this possibly be the Meteor or Magnum we have heard about? Pluto I’m pretty sure is a touch-screen bold like device.
