Free Chalk 2D Today Plus Theme for the 8100, 8300, 8800 & 9000

Artem over at Gemblock.Com sent over his latest theme design called, Chalk 2D Today Plus. Available for 81xx, 83xx, 88xx & 9xxx devices, Chalk 2D could easily be a premium theme, but it’s actually free. I haven’t had a chance to play with this baby but I really like the edgy black background and white chalk icons. The main screen has ‘message’ and ‘calendar’ listings and the whole theme reminds you of the good ‘ole school days. Since this is available for an array of BB devices, keep in mind that the look may change a bit according to screen size etc. I put Bold screen shots directly below and below that, some smaller images of the Pearl version. Anyway, go ahead and test it for yourself by grabbing the OTA here.

    When I click on the “Download” link at the Gemblock site it takes me to a “Save” option. How to I get the OTA link? Thanks!

      To download a theme, right click on the download link and go to properties. Get that url and send it to your blackberry accessible email.

      I will make an easier system in the future.

    Looks good at first sight, but us absolutly Nonsens for me.
    The batteriesymbol is too small, an shows the energylevel via fractions (7/8 as a sample!)!
    Its so tiny on a Bolds screen, its impossible to get this important information quickly (because the Bold battery is quite too small, and without my car adaptor and the spare battery theres only one word: Offline!).

    And, only the original icons get the cool chalky look, the Opera icon, for example is in bright red… and this realy looks stupid!

    Sorry, but his is only for those of the you, who will not use the BB as a communikation leatherman.

    So i will use the sensationel Flamboyant theme longer, because its so much better then the original Precision Silver theme.
