I am not sure where RIM gets their ideas for contests but they really could come up with better ideas… John over at MobileSyrup spotted their latest WinWithBlackBerry.com sweepstakes. This time themed around being a BlackBerry Secret Agent. My first thought was “I love the tips I get from BlackBerry Secret Agents” but then I realized that it was a sort of game. It asks you random world traveler questions and enters you in a chance to win a weekly trip or a daily prize. Questions are along the vein of “What is the official language of Monico?” You can enter in daily for the daily prize and weekly for the weekly prize… The contest is running until Feb 27th at 11:59 CST.
The prizes are pretty cool though:
- Grand Prize – International or domestic travel on Northwest Airlines (~$25,000 retail value) and Marriott hotel vouchers (~$3,600 retail value) along with $6,000 of cold hard cash.
- Seven Weekly Prizes of a two night two day trip for winner and one companion to and from any continental U.S. destination that Northwest Airlines flies. Air travel provided by Northwest Airlines and two nights hotel stay provided by Marriott. Prize also includes $1,000 cash award.
- One hundred and seventy four Daily Prizes
If you live in the 48 US states, Disctrict of Columbia, or Canada you are eligible. Sadly If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or Quebec you are excluded since RIM does not consider you worthy of winning anything… 🙂
