J.D. Power 2009 Wireless Customer Care Study – T-Mobile Gets Top Billing

jdpowerratings T-Mobile topped the recent J.D Power Wireless Customer Care study yet again. They were neck in neck with Verizon this year but T-Mobile took the award.

The ratings break down to:

  • T-Mobile – 5 stars (Winner)
  • Verizon – 5 stars
  • Alltel – 4 stars (might as well be Verizon for now)
  • AT&T – 3 stars
  • Sprint – 2 stars

Things are not looking too hot for Sprint… The study was based on 13,000 wireless customers based on information from December 2008.

So what do you think? Did J.D. Power get it right? I always like T-Mobile support since they are open 24/7 compared to AT&T closing at around 8-9. I think Verizon also has 24/7 support along with chat.

    Got a T-Mobile BlackBerry first but that model was junk.
    So I got the BB Bold with ATT and so far been happy.

  2. TMO FTW! They have always had exemplary customer service everytime I have had to deal with them… no complaints here!

  4. Verizon customer service has never let me down in the 15 years I’ve been a customer.
    I had another phone via Sprint-Nextel and was never happy with cs.

    Seriously? ATT customer support has hours limited like that?

  5. I moved from Sprint to T-Mo, and I have to say Sprint service was pretty good from 2001-2007 but T-Mo’s Cust Serv has been EXCELLENT!! My Rebates never arrived, so they just credited my monthly bill. They also don’t mind telling helpful things all the time that save me money.
