Free BlackBerry device for every Australian household….

australian-moneyI knew the headline on this one would get your attention…. 🙂

The Australian government has today announced a further economic stimulus package (we have already had a large cash injection just before Christmas last year) to try and kick start the economy. A cash payout of an average $950 AUD will be distributed to approx 95% Australian wage earners over the next couple of weeks.

The idea behind it is to give consumers a bit of leeway and  we are being told to spend, spend, spend… and low and behold, what is on top BlackBerry addicted tech-heads list ? That’s right, the new 8900 Curve… At around $925 AUD outright, you will even be able to afford a proprietary case to go with your brand new BB. The new Curve  hasn’t been officially release here yet but should be in stores at around the same time (fingers crossed) that this little bonus hits bank accounts.

I know its not the most responsible way to use your money but its a hell of a lot more exciting than spending it on boring stuff….

It looks like I’m going to have to teach them a lesson and spend this (or put it towards) a new lens. My Curve 8310 is great thankyou!
    The lens I want costs AU$2500 …
