Found online: 4.6.1.133 for Curve 8900

Secret agent 14-B is back, this time with a tip for the Curve 8900 (a.k.a. Javelin) owners: the official release of the BlackBerry OS version 4.6.1.133. Well, not really a secret since it’s an official release, available from Wind, in Italy. Here is the link for all of you interested.

Note that the same link lets you download version 4.6.0.365 for the Bold. Considering that BerryReview announced version 4.6.0.228 just four days ago, it seems that Wind Italy has an even newer version.

Our usual warnings apply: do not download and install these updates if you don’t know what you’re doing. Incorrect procedure or just bad luck could render your BlackBerry inoperative or unstable.

   It’s 4.6.0.216, not 4.6.0.365. We go by application number (.216)

   And wasn’t this posted a week back? I’ve had 133 for a while now. Just cause its official doesn’t make it new. Atleast I don’t think it does

     Maybe, but I wasn’t aware of it, neither was Ronen. No one here at BerryReview was aware of it. That probably means many other people didn’t know about it, so we’re letting everyone know. Because we like to do that.

     Also, I’m sure there are people out there who trust nothing but the “official” releases, which makes some sense.

   Osman is right. The 8900 OS 4.6.0.133 was posted to BerryReview on Jan. 24th. I certainly don’t mind it is now posted officially.
