Premium ‘Grunge’ Theme from Elecite.com

What will they think of next? For the guys at Elecite…you just never know. Their latest theme, for 8300, 8800 & 9000 devices, is called ‘Grunge‘. This is one theme I just had to test for myself and I likey a lot. OK, so where to begin? First off, the overall design of this theme is very elaborate with it’s winged illustrations, shooting stars and other interesting graphic elements. On the main page, you have a top bar of 6 user-customizable icons and a cool bottom banner with time and date. The icons are white and look like they are almost ‘etched’ out of the black. When you scroll over them, a green glow surrounds them. The fonts are also another very neat design feature, they are like old fashioned typewriter styled fonts and really add to the roughness of the theme itself. If you follow my  theme reviews you know I love wallpaper friendly themes so even though this theme is entirely cool just the way it is, I just had to see if it would work with other wallpapers. To my surprise, it did! Basically, on the main page, the top bar and bottom bar just sit over the whichever wallpaper you choose. So if you pick a ‘grungish’ looking wallpaper, it will work well with this theme. A very innovative theme design the likes of which I haven’t seen before.     Wow, THIS is a premium theme. Wish I didn’t already fork over $6 for pinkBold…

      That is a pretty cool theme, but I am surprised that YOU would have purchased a pink bold theme??????? I thought I read in your last post that you did not like the pink bold theme? Hmmmmmmm sounds a bit fishy to me, I think there is a serious credibility issue with Mr. Mettleh3d, can this be the owner of Elecite themes tooting his own horn???? Me thinks so………

    I was kidding abt buying pinkbold hahaha. No this theme looks fantastic, and most of elecites themes usually are (but I like the stock att precision (bold) so much…) I think I need this theme though.
    I was sarcastically making a point of the magnitudes of difference in quality.

    Btw I have to point out that I love playing Rock Band (expert, not casual) and Grunge definitely “breathes” rockband
