It works on my 8830 4.5.0.101 without stuttering or requiring TCP APN settings, and the volume works via the up/down buttons on the side. Like on my 9530, stops playing when not the foreground app. Screens work better on 8830 than 9530 for sure. A background app (such as EveryHour) that makes a sound seems to kill its audio though.

Are you kiddin me? moodio and radiobee both have major problems! Neither will work on my 8830 4.5OS. radiobee buffers every 3 seconds and wont even begin to play a full song. And while I can at least hear something on radiobee,(but cant change the volume)even though its more chopped up then a cheap cut steak at a late night diner...its better then moodio which does absolutely nothing when i pull up the mobile site...literally nothing! I try to click to open and it does nothing at all. Yes I have setup an account and went to the website...which is all Belgium...but still I get no response from moodio...thus...putting me in a bad moodio!!
I will stick with slacker.

Requires the TCP APN connection to be setup,so expect this to be cost, depending your data plan.So you will be a bit stuck if you don't have a wifi device. The interface needs some serious overhauling if it wants to compete in the app space, the imagery has bad cropping and looks a little pixelated on my curve. While playing don't expect the app or device in general to be responsive and when it does and you need the menu, the menu does this little flash jive, needs some cleanup there. - 8310/4.5.0.102

RadioBee vs. Moodio.fm:
Moodio offers much more live radios
RadioBee works over Wifi unlike Moodio.
Radio over Wifi is a no brainer. RadioBee gets my vote for now.

Haven't been able to get it to stay playing in the background.
