OntoCalendar Beta – Now Also Lets You Add Emails As Tasks
We mentioned OntoCalendar two weeks ago as a hot free app that let you add your email as a calendar item reminder. Rknobbe let me know in the comments that the developer has updated the application to let you also add a email as a task. The only problem is that you cannot set a default reminder time like you can for calendar items due to RIM’s API but the developer is working on it.
This is definitely worth checking out at its new website:

The latest beta 3.5.5 is the version that adds the OntoTasks feature. They are working on version 3.6 which should be a final release for tasks. They are also looking into a way to create a meeting invite from an email but that seems to have limited usefulness at least for me.
OTA installation for the beta version 3.5.5 is available at this link.
Thanks again to the developer!
