Screencandy Of RIM’s Visual Voicemail For BlackBerry

The OS 4.6.0.219 release that we mentioned earlier this month raised a few questions when it installed an icon for visual voicemail. Zach over at the BoyGenius did some digging and got some great screenshots of the visual voicemail features on the Bold. Nice work Zach!

Nothing crazy here but I do like how nice it looks. On the other hand there really does not seem to be much you cannot already do with free YouMail service and the free VyMail client. Compared to YouMail this may work outside the US so I can imaging many international readers are really excited!

There is no official release date yet nor a mention on if it will be carrier specific but Zach does say that it might come out sooner than we think. I just hope RIM or the carriers don’t start charging a premium monthly fee for it.

    The vendor I’d from the alx indicates that this will be AT&T only.
