RIM & IBM Introducing New Lotus Features and Developer Tools Soon
Some exciting news for Lotus BES users at Lotusphere this year. RIM sent a press release over the wire announcing some new features coming to Lotus users soon. Its great to see that RIM is really working on improving the Lotus experience on the BlackBerry. These new enhancements that they have announced will enable some cool new features for companies with Lotus and BES deployments. In short it will add Symphony Document Viewing, Quickr Team Collaboration, Domino Designer and XPages.

Most of these features are intended to help teams collaborate and share information on the go. They are also releasing an Eclipse plugin to help speed up the development of applications that tie into the companies BES. This new Eclipse plugin will let developers create simple and secure applications with ease.
