FAQ: Lost Access To Your Gmail Or Google Account? Here Is How To Get It Back
Recently a friend of mines Gmail account was compromised due to his weak password. I always yelled at him for having a easy to guess password but he learned the hard way one day when all of his friends asked him why he sent them spam asking them to buy Viagra. The problem was that the person who hacked his Gmail account changed the password right after so my friend could no longer access his Gmail account and fix the problem. I had something similar happen to my wife with Hotmail awhile back but they offer almost no way to recover your password on a free account. So if you have lost access to your Gmail account you can try to contact Gmail support by heading over to the link below and filling out your information. The form is pretty thorough so you may have to dig to the back of you mind to try to remember some of the answers.
