GhostShell let me know that IndoSat has officially released OS 4.5.0.124 for their 8300, 8310, & 8320. You can easily delete the vendor.alx file to install this on your own carrier.
NOTE: This looks like the same release as the unofficial links that were found and we put up in this previous post. I thought it was worth mentioning because these are officially released by IndoSat and RIM.
You can find the links on RIMs site here

Will DM 4.7 recognize this O/S? I have read about problems that people have been having where the newer O/S does not show up in the list of applications to be installed when using 4.7 and was wondering if anyone had successfully ran the update on 4.7.

I ran into the same problem. You can disable the Upgrade feature in Desktop 4.7 or you can just install and use Desktop 4.6 which is what I used an no problems.

There are many changes but it depends on where you are coming from. I just upgraded my Brother’s BB and from 4.3 to 4.5 he didn’t notice much. From 4.2 I saw a huge difference. If you search on BerryReview a bit I promise you there is an article that talks about this.
