He’s back…theme designer, ecruz that is…and with full force. I think he’s created like 5 themes for the Bold already (since the new year) and I wish I could post about them all, but for space sake…I’ll only mention one. Today Theme Series is an innovative design that features a main screen of 9 user-customizable icons (in a top bar format) along with a ‘messages’ and ‘calendar’ today listing on the right side. On the left side, you’ll note there is the time/date information and underneath that, another user-customizable icon. I like the different backgrounds that ecruz has chosen which go nicely with the corresponding icons but most of his themes are wallpaper friendly so my guess is you can change the wallpapers as you like, providing they are dark enough to allow the white type of the today screen to show through. I feel bad complaining about a free theme, but since this is the best today theme I’ve found ANYWHERE for the Bold, I need to ask for an improvment.
Everything is fine except the menu font is still really large? I like everything nice and small, taking advantage of the high resolution of the screen. This theme takes great advantage of that on the home screen, but for some reason the font of the menu’s is still huge, and it bugs the hell out of me.
Is there any way the author of these themes could fix that? I would be eternally grateful.
