ZipBook – On Device Database Of USA Zip Codes & Information
Intellibits let me know that they have released ZipBook for BlackBerry. This simple application stores a database on your device of every zip code in the USA along with pertinent information about that location. Such as the city, county, state, area code, time zone, and more. Sadly the app does not have a free trial available but at $4.99 its not that bad of a deal.
On the other hand with a quick Google search I found the free service www.zipinfo.com. This requires an internet connection and is not mobile friendly but it offers you the same information along with Latitude and Longitude.
So I guess the app is only really useful if you need this information in a mobile friendly format immediately when you don’t have an internet connection.
