Picture 2 I am not sure if you have heard of QR tags before but they are little 2D codes that act like high tech barcodes to link you to certain information. Ik weet niet of je gehoord hebt van QR codes voor, maar ze zijn weinig 2D-codes die fungeren als high-tech barcodes je een link naar bepaalde informatie. You just take a picture of them with your camera phone and it translates it into a link. Je neemt gewoon een foto van hen met uw camera telefoon en vertaalt deze in een link.

Microsoft just joined the fray with their own take on these little 2D codes and has now added color. Microsoft net toegetreden tot de strijd met hun eigen rekening op deze kleine 2D-codes en is nu toegevoegd kleur. They are also smaller than 2D codes. Ze zijn ook kleiner dan 2D-codes. They use triangle shapes and colors to store data like a unique identifier which is then correlated to information on Microsoft's servers. Zij gebruiken driehoek vormen en kleuren op te slaan gegevens, zoals een unieke identificatiecode die dan gecorreleerd is om informatie op de servers van Microsoft.

For example you would see a take out menu and it would have a little tag on the bottom. Zou bijvoorbeeld zie je een menu nemen en het zou een beetje tag op de bodem. You would take a picture of it and your phone would automatically take you to the restaurants mobile menu. Je zou een foto van en uw telefoon automatisch zou u naar de restaurants mobiele menu.

Sounds pretty cool but until now these have really not caught on. Klinkt pretty cool maar tot nu toe deze zijn echt niet op gevangen. Maybe Microsoft can give it the extra push… Misschien Microsoft kan geven de extra push ...

I found the app worked like a charm on my Bold but I could not find a use for it. Ik vond de app werkte als een charme op mijn spannend, maar ik kon het niet vinden een toepassing voor. Maybe it is a case of “if you build it they will come…” Misschien is het een geval van "als je het bouwen ze zullen komen ..."

    Hmm. Hmm. Haven't caught on perhaps only because all they're doing is encoding a URL that points you to a place to download the content OTA! Haven't gevangen op misschien alleen maar omdat alles wat ze doet is dat codeert voor een URL die u verwijst naar een plaats om de inhoud OTA download! Basically a non-human readable barcode that you can scan with your phone's camera. Principe een niet-leesbare barcode die u kunt scannen met de camera van de telefoon. The whole premise is that is should be easier for the user then typing a well chosen URL (short? mainly all numbers even) in the first place. De hele premisse is dat moet worden gemakkelijker voor de gebruiker vervolgens een goed gekozen URL (korte typering? Voornamelijk alle nummers even) in de eerste plaats.

    Clever idea, but needs to “change the world” to be useful so it's ubiquitous. Slim idee, maar moet "de wereld veranderen" nuttig dus het is alomtegenwoordig.
